The accommodation is located next door to the old concrete church which was built in 1908. This imposing building provides a lovely backdrop to the recently renovated church house also known as “The Rectory”.
3 years ago we fell in love with the West Coast of Tasmania and now call it home….. Not long after arriving I saw that the old church was for sale. It was a little neglected and I just felt strangely compelled to save this piece of history. I found out later that the church pew we acquired with the purchase of our own house in Zeehan was actually one of the church pews from this very church which I sat on every morning to drink my coffee!
